ABOUT US

Simply put we realize dreams and bridge the gap between an idea and actual product!

At Moahit 3D we give your 3d models a real shape that you can touch and feel with the help of state of the art 3D printers to give you a product that is not so easy or practical to build using conventional manufacturing techniques.

3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced cross-section of the object. With 3D printing, we can produce complex shapes using less material than traditional manufacturing methods. 3D printing is the opposite of subtractive manufacturing which is cutting out / hollowing out a piece of metal or plastic with for instance a milling machine.

3D Printed Gear

This is an example of gear that saves substantial production time when 3D printed and creates less material waste as compared to similar objects created using CNC milling machine. Complex shapes can be easily realized using 3d software and no injections moulds or complex cutting machinery is required to make it.

Our Quality standards:

Filament Range

Moahit 3D 90%
Hobbyist 50%

Our printers can handle widest variety of materials you can find in the marker including open source filaments which most of the hobbyist printers do not support. For more information checkout supported materials. We use best quality materials provided by vendor based on the application to suit your needs.

Moisture Control

Moahit 3D 99%
Hobbyist 25%

Moisture is the biggest reason why most of the high-end prints fail. With capacity to hold 6 spools in a sealed compartment and feed composite-ready dual extrusion, each printer smartly manages filaments to ensure moisture is maintained below 40% before filament hits the printer hot head, which most of the Hobbyist printers can't do.

Environment Control

Moahit 3D 99%
Hobbyist 60%

Uncontrolled print environment is another hurdle with filament printing. Our printers have an enclosed housing to control print environment and maintain optimal temperature for complete print cycle. This helps minimize failed prints, reducing print time and ensuring best quality.

Air Quality

Moahit 3D 95%
Hobbyist 20%

Most hobbyist printers ignore the fact how important it is to maintain good air quality in the production setup. Our printers actively block 95% of fine hazardous particles and fumes that escape from molten filaments and release cleanest air back to the environment.

WORKFLOW

How does it work?

Click on the steps to expand.

First thing is to get a 3D Model designed based on your application. If the model is already available, this step can be skipped.

Next comes prototyping where we print a wireframe/hollow print using regular PLA filament. This ensures dimensional accuracy and helps with fit test. If the 3D model has been printed before, this step can be skipped.

Then the product is made from required filament based on application in desired quality. Quality of print is determined by nozzle size, layer height, print speed and ambient temperature. Generally, the higher quality means more print time and may take from a couple of hours to a few days depending on print size.

Some products may need post processing if they have support material or need some finishing.

Finally, the product is packaged and delivered to you.
